Once you love the preview, choose how to take it home: the digital download is a full-resolution PNG ($6) suitable for printing anywhere up to 24×36 inches. The 8×12 framed canvas ($79) ships from our US print partner in 3–5 business days, ready to hang. The bundle ($79) includes both — same price as the canvas alone. If something is off in the first version, reply to your confirmation email and we redo it free, unlimited revisions.

How does AI pet portrait generation actually work?
We use a fine-tuned image model trained specifically on pet portraiture. You upload a photo, the model analyzes the pet's face, fur color, breed shape, and pose, and generates a brand-new portrait in your chosen style. It's not a filter — it's a re-imagining of your pet as if a human artist had painted them. The full-resolution output is print-ready up to 24×36 inches.
What kind of photo gives the best result?
A clear, well-lit photo of your pet from the front, with their face fully visible, gives the strongest result. Natural lighting beats flash. A close-up beats a distant shot. A simple background helps — but isn't required, we crop and stylize automatically. Phone photos work great; no professional camera needed.
What if the photo I have is blurry or old?
Send it anyway. We work with whatever you have, including older photos from before everything went digital, blurry phone snapshots, or photos with other people in them. If we think a different photo would turn out noticeably better, we'll tell you gently. For memorial portraits especially, we work with the photo that matters most to you.
What if the first version doesn't look like my pet?
We redo it free. Reply to the confirmation email with what's off — wrong expression, different pose, more focus on the face, change the background — and we generate a new version. Unlimited revisions, no questions, no time limit, no extra cost.
How is this different from Crown & Paw or West & Willow?
Those services use human artists with 1–7 day turnaround and pricing starting around $79 for a digital file. We use AI for the heavy lift, which is what lets us deliver in 30 seconds at $6 for a digital download. The trade-off is honesty: ours is AI-assisted with curated styles; theirs is hand-finished. If you want a fully hand-painted portrait and can wait a week, choose them. If you want a preview right now and a framed canvas in 3–5 days, choose us.
Is the watermarked preview really free? What's the catch?
No catch. The preview is genuinely free, with no signup or credit card required. The watermark stays until you purchase. We do this so you can see exactly what you'd get before paying anything. If you don't love it, walk away — costs you nothing.
Can I get a high-resolution file for printing at a print shop?
Yes — the digital download ($6) is a full-resolution PNG suitable for printing at any size up to about 24×36 inches. Many customers print it at their local print shop, on canvas through a third-party, or directly on metal or acrylic. We also offer framed canvas, mounted prints, and display prints shipped to your door if you'd rather not deal with printing.
What if I want a custom style that isn't in your library?
We currently offer four styles: Watercolor, Oil Painting, Renaissance, and Line Art. Custom style requests are something we're piloting — email cosmic.company.llc@gmail.com with a reference image and we'll let you know if it's something we can do for you.
